Gratitude Meditation
Gratitude isn’t reserved for moments when life feels easy or flowing in our favour. It’s a practice of acknowledging the good in our lives, even in the midst of challenges. We actively choose to look for and find the gifts. This practice shifts our focus from what’s lacking to what’s present, grounding us in the here and now. As we cultivate gratitude, we rewire our minds to notice abundance, fostering a sense of inner peace and resilience. Gratitude becomes a powerful antidote to fear and scarcity, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, there is something to hold onto, a light to guide us forward. It opens the door to connection—with ourselves, others, and life itself—offering a steady foundation for deeper self-compassion and transformation. Practicing gratitude doesn’t mean we have to be grateful for everything; instead, we ask ourselves, “In this moment, what can I be grateful for?”
To skip my introduction to the practice, you can fast forward to 1 minute 25 seconds in the recording.
